1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect via the Services depends on the content and materials you use, and includes:
a. Personal Data You Provide to Us:
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register for an account, use the Services, or communicate with us. This information may include:
* Account Information: Your name, email address, and password (managed through AWS Cognito).
* Queries: The research queries you submit to the Services. We anonymize search queries before they are used for internal analytics or logged by third-party analytics services.
* Communications: If you contact us directly (e.g., via email to support@devdashlabs.com
), we may receive additional information about you such as your name, email address, the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you may choose to provide.
b. Information Collected Automatically: When you access the Site or use our Services, we may automatically collect certain information about your device and usage, including: * Log and Usage Data: Information about your use of the Services, including the type of browser you use, access times, pages viewed, your IP address, and the page you visited before navigating to our Services. * Device Information: Information about the computer or mobile device you use to access our Services, including the hardware model, operating system and version, and unique device identifiers. * Analytics Data (PostHog): We use PostHog for product analytics to understand how users interact with our Services. PostHog may collect information such as your IP address (which may be used to approximate your location), device type, operating system, browser type, pages visited, features used, and session duration. We send your user ID to PostHog to track your user journey and associate events with your account. Search queries sent to PostHog are anonymized beforehand. PostHog's use of such information is governed by their privacy policy.

3. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION
We may share information we have collected about you in certain situations. Your information may be disclosed as follows:
a. By Law or to Protect Rights: If we believe the release of information about you is necessary to respond to legal process, to investigate or remedy potential violations of our policies, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of others, we may share your information as permitted or required by any applicable law, rule, or regulation.

Examples include: * Cloud hosting providers (e.g., Amazon Web Services - AWS). * Payment processors (e.g., Stripe) for subscription services. * Analytics providers (e.g., PostHog). * Providers of Large Language Models (LLMs) whose APIs are used to generate research and responses. These providers receive query data to process requests but are generally prohibited by their terms from using this data for their own model training without separate agreements. These service providers are authorized to use your personal information only as necessary to provide these services to us.
c. Business Transfers: We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.
d. With Your Consent: We may disclose your personal information for any other purpose with your consent.
